What Is GolfTranz?

GolfTranz was founded in 2004 to serve and support the golf industry exclusively by providing a wide range of merchant services to benefit the golf business community. We provide wholesale service to many golf businesses powering their respective electronic gateway and point of sale systems with the latest redundant network technologies. We offer everything that you might expect from a traditional merchant service provider along with many value-added benefits that also contribute to the golf industry as a whole. Our valued clients enjoy lower costs, increase revenues and improve cash flow compared to generic service providers. You might expect to pay a great deal more for these services, but on the contrary, most of our clients save from 10% to 20%.

GolfTranz has effectively created a very large buying pool and our clients take advantage of this by enjoying a greater level of service and expertise at a lower cost.

Who do we serve?

GolfTranz powers the wholesale payment systems for some of the most well-known companies of the golf business community. Our list of retail clients is also extensive and includes golf resorts, public and private courses, off-course retail shops, practice centers, golf organizations/associations as well as online golf shops.

Why was it Started?

GolfTranz recognized that the golf industry was under-served and overcharged for payment processing services along with most merchant services.

Executive Team

Steven W. Fluke, President & Co-Founder

Steve is the co-founded GolfTranz in 2004 and did so because of his realization in working with merchant service providers as a club professional that the golf industry was generally overcharged and underserved. Now all these years later, GolfTranz is the leading service provider of merchant services for the golf industry with offices in San Francisco, Pebble Beach, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Myrtle Beach.

Education: Degree from California State University, San Jose, Business management and Finance. Business Fraternity: Delta Sigma Pi PGA

GolfTranz Directors

John Gilvary – Business Development

John oversees our business development department focusing his efforts with major golf retail chains, major golf businesses and golf course management companies. His background in finance and commercial realestate has been instrumental in the acquisition of many of our largest clients and maintaining sound long term business relationships. John has an MBA degree from UC San Francisco and resides in Silicon Valley and enjoys golfing whenever he gets the chance.

Jarod Fluke – Partner Relations

Jarod brings a long list of business skills to GolfTranz and heads up our Partner Relations group that works with a wide variety of golf associations and organizations. His experience includes project management along with experience in accounting, international businesand business development. Besides an avid golfer, Jarod is an Eagle Scout, speaks Mandarin, and University of California, San Diego graduate with a degree in International Studies of Economics and a minor in Business.

Mafe Piloneo – Administration

Mafe oversees all GolfTranz administration requirements in order to maintain a well run business operation. Her responsibilities include a vast list of duties which include accounts receivables/payables, finance, accounting and HR functions. She has a degree in Business management and when she is not busy at the office enjoys spending time in the gym as a Zumba instructor.

Rhonda DuBoce – Communications

Rhonda is in charge of all corporate communications to both existing and future GolfTranz clients. Notification of all upcoming account manager trainings as well as new service offerings. She oversees all press releases which includes all releases of any new GolfTranz products and services. She also enjoys time with family and friends while raising her two children.
